What material are the caps made from? - The composite visors are made from carbon, silver or gold fiber. The rest of the cap is made from an exclusive micro-suede fabric.

Does your caps protect the eyes from the suns UV rays? - Yes, the suns UV rays does not penetrate the visor of our caps, so yes it helps to protect your eyes from UV rays.

Is carbon fiber expensive for you to buy? - Yes, Carbon fiber is a very expensive material, this is one reason why it costs much more to produce a carbon fiber cap than a normal textile cap. Airplane manufacturers like Boing and Airbus use large quantities of carbon fiber in their new airplane models. Many automakers also use carbon fiber in their sport cars, for example Ferrari, BMW, Lamborghini, Porsche, Corvette and Audi. This has lead to a world wide carbon fiber shortage and the prices of carbon fiber has sky rocketed in the last couple of years.

Why carbon fiber? - In a time when the automobile and airplane industry turns to superior materials and advanced manufacturing techniques, so do we. Carbon fiber is stronger than steel and yet lighter than aluminum. This makes our visors strong, light and virtually indestructible. In other words it is high-tech. Carbon fiber also looks extremely good with its three dimensional fibers and shiny surface.

What can I do if the fabric on my cap gets ruined? - Since the composite carbon, silver or gold visor will outlive any fabric, we have set up a replacement service for the caps fabric. This means if the micro suede fabric of your cap should get ruined so that it is no longer usable and your visor is ok, you can send us this ruined cap with visor. We will then replace the micro suede fabric and send the cap back to you with the original visor. Your get your cap back with new fabric and save the cost of buying a complete new cap. You can also choose a new micro suede fabric color (from our available colors) if you would like a new color on your fabric.

How do I order and pay for a replacement of my micro suede fabric? - In our web shop click on replacement cap fabric, choose the color that you would like on your new cap fabric and then pay online for the fabric replacement. Then when you have placed your order for a replacement of the cap fabric, you send us your old ruined cap. When we receive your cap, we replace the fabric according to your color specifications and then we send your cap with the new micro suede fabric back to you. You receives your cap back with a new micro suede fabric and can continue to enjoy your carbon, silver or gold fiber cap.

My cap tends to get warm when its laying around outside in the sun, will this ruin the carbon fiber visor? - All black or dark things do have a tendency to get warmer in sun light than for example lighter colored things. Your cap however will of course not get ruined from sunshine. There are other carbon fiber products on the market that are produced from the wrong or cheap material, when this is the case these products can with time turn slightly yellow from the suns UV rays. Our visors are produced from the highest quality materials and these are not affected by the suns UV rays. So you can rest assure, your cap will not get ruined from sunshine now or in the future.
